The African Caribbean Business Network (ACBN) is committed to promoting the cause of black and ethnic minority enterprises (BAME) within the UK. To this end, we are constantly seeking to bring to the attention of both government and industry the key issues concerning our network members. As a member, your input will be vital in ensuring our efforts in this endeavour are best directed to the benefit of the whole network and above all your business.
The ACBN provides an inside track to preferential procurement for African and Caribbean owned businesses. Our network provides a first port-of-call for other members seeking goods and services and encourages its members to actively network within the community - helping to build new business relationships for your business.
We run an intensive schedule of networking events for our members including: regular networking events, subsidised exhibition space, and specialised sector events.
We keep our members well informed and provide a range of additional information services. These include: database services, business support services, essential events calendar, regular news updates, and priority notification of forthcoming ACBN and non-ACBN events.
In addition to our promotion of the network, members’ benefits include: inclusion in the ACBN Business Network Directory, discounted advertising within the network, discounted procurement from fellow members, FREE passes to selected ACBN events, and participation in trade missions.
African and Caribbean businesses may join the ACBN as either standard or premium members.
Standard membership includes all of the benefits and services listed for a nominal administrative fee.
In addition to the benefits of Standard membership, Premium Members receive the following additions:
